CorInsurance is seeking a full time Customer Service Representative - Agent in our Webster community and surrounding areas!

As a CSR Agent, incumbents will support CorTrust's mission and business objectives by providing new, prospective, and existing customers with an exceptional insurance experience. They will work with customers to provide risk-based solutions to customer’s insurance needs in a responsive, effective, and appropriate manner. They will support insurance and/or branch management as business and customer needs dictate.
Role and Responsibilities
Daily duties for this position:
- Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all insurance needs are met.
- Assist in the resolution of questions or issues that may arise.
- Accurately and efficiently process system data and manage document retention.
- Provide quotes, issue policies, and process daily transactions.
- Adhere to all Company and Insurer policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate dependability and flexibility, responding to support requests promptly.
- Respond positively and efficiently to other duties, responsibilities and activities as may be assigned.
- Maintain working knowledge of insurance lines and specialty lines.
- Perform all duties with general understanding of regulatory, transaction, reputation and cybersecurity risks to the business.
Required qualifications
Required skills & abilities:
- Possesses combination of education and experience to perform primary duties and responsibilities of position.
- Adapts easily to system, process, product, and service changes.
- Advocates for CorTrust in the community, customer experience, and co-worker relationships.
- Ability to reason, problem solve, and think critically.
- Demonstrates high level of integrity, personal diplomacy, and respect.
- Ability to understand and abide by the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Hold or be willing to obtain valid South Dakota insurance licenses issued by the South Dakota Division of Insurance.
- Insurance experience preferred but not required based on other business experience.
