Job Highlights:
Assist in drug preparation, storage, distribution and inventory management under the direction of a Pharmacist at the Acute Care Hospital Pharmacy.

Job Summary:
Accurately inputs and prepares labels and packages for inpatient and outpatient medication orders and prescriptions.
Successfully communicate with nursing staff, physicians, customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management and participates in interdepartmental work groups and committees as assigned to promote high-quality communication and prevent patient harm.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of medications, calculations, regulations, personal protective equipment, and promotion of patient safety.
Assist with the collection and maintenance of records as needed.
Required qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Obtain certification within first 2 years of employment. Avera covers cost of certification.
